A: It is in following that
our Christianity becomes vital for individuals within the community.
Groups do not follow Christ; individuals follow Christ. It is not
they or we who follow, but I.
The kingdom of God is never a pluralized call. We each embrace it
alone or not at all. It is said that the Galileans followed, but
they followed individually. Regardless of what the rest of the community
does, each of us must singularly follow Christ. We need to adopt
for ourselves the resolution of Jonathan Edwards:
Resolved: That every man should live to the glory of God.
Resolved Second: That whether others do this or not, I will.
